At a minimum, the Oracle user must have the following Oracle roles and privileges:

• CONNECT role
• RESOURCE role
• CREATE SEQUENCE system privilege
• CREATE VIEW system privilege
• EXECUTE object privilege on the DBMS_LOCK package
